Compare the topics and methods of the computing disciplines. Just what are the differences among these disciplines?

Topics for this week is Computing Disciplines. Many people consider the contemporary time period the “era of computing”. Indeed, technological advances in computing field has develop many exciting new directions in the world. In order to make people will able to understand computing field, we break the computing field down into five which is: Computer engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, software engineering, and cognitive science. Absolutely each of these computing disciplines are different. Please refer table below about differences of computing disciplines.

4.	Information Technology	Ø  Focusses on computing infrastructure and needs of individual users. Ø  Tends to involve a study of systems.	v  CEO/ CIO of companies, also opening DotCom companies.
5.	Software Engineering	Ø  Focuses on large-scale software systems. Ø  Employs certain ideas from the world of engineering in building reliable software systems.	v  Software Engineer. v  Programmer.
6.	Cognitive Science	Ø  Is the interdisciplinary scientific study of the mind and its processes? Ø  It examines what cognition is, what it does and how it works.

Can I live without internet connection for a day, a week, a month, and a year?

Good question for me, actually I cannot live without internet connection because it’s part of my life and will make me sick when no internet connection only for 1 hour. This because everything now depends on internet and I also think that anybody else also same like me. Almost 24 hour I will spend for using internet only: to find information, download movie, facebooking and many more and for that reason internet so important to me. I don’t know what happen to me if one day I will be stranded at place which is doesn’t have any internet connection. Maybe I will become crazy or I will die? I cannot imagine anything. But, in my university also have problem with internet connection, so stressful and to overcome it, I subscribed P1 internet. It’s like heaven when I can do everything hahahahaha X0X0 lalala~

How does internet affect my life as a student?

 I would to share how internet affects my life as a student. First for all, what is internet and why we need this in our life? For me internet is a network that contain everything information all over the world and I can find any information by using internet because everything just on my fingertip only. But, as student like me, internet is everything because I have many assignment, exercise and the most important is facebooking. I need to find many references regarding my studies even to check my result also using internet. From that, I can concluded that internet already affect developed my life from a boy who doesn’t know anything to a boy who already expert in anything that related to IT. Back to 10 years past, to use Microsoft Word always make me sick because nobody had teach me about IT. How shameful I am, until now I will remember all my experience and will document it in my memories. Sometimes, we also need to remember that internet could ruined our life for example myself as well, I always waste my time by download movie and watching movie only. For my dear friends, do not me follow me la, better study than waste your time. Internet will become our good comrade if we know how to handle it but it also will stabbed us so, do not drink and drive beware of dog..X0X0 lalala~
